Wilson introduces its most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Suitable for all player types and offering maximum control. With the expansion of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver characterized by maximum forgiveness and stability, the DYNAPWR Max+. Focused on Stability and Customization at Wilson The key feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high moment of inertia (MOI), which surpasses 10,000 for the first time, enhancing clubhead stability at impact for straighter shots and more consistent ball flights, even on off-center hits. According to Wilson, this high MOI was achieved without increasing the overall weight of the clubhead, aiming to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds. To accommodate different playing styles, the driver is highly adjustable, featuring a six-way adjustable hosel and variable weighting in the back of the clubhead to tailor launch angle and spin. New Face Technology and Aerodynamics The DYNAPWR Max+’s performance is based on an advanced PKR360 (Peak Kinetic Response) face design, emphasizing improved heel performance without compromising speed or consistency across the face. Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been significantly enhanced. A lighter, more precisely manufactured face saved about five grams, strategically relocated to the rear of the clubhead, contributing significantly to the high MOI. Manufacturing accuracy has also been optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits. Aerodynamic-inspired surfaces further boost clubhead speed. Optimized Geometry and Clubhead Shape with Improved Sound For greater consistency on mis-hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features an adjusted bulge and roll geometry. A rounder face aids better gear effect control, stabilizing spin and distance even on off-center shots. The driver has a lightweight carbon crown and a redesigned clubhead shape with increased usable volume. A lower crown height and reduced face mass allow more flexibility in weight distribution, especially at the clubhead’s perimeter, further enhancing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ caters to skilled players with a pronounced toe flare that offers more confidence at address without compromising clubhead stability. Besides performance and design, acoustics were also refined. Using topology optimization, Wilson engineers tuned the driver’s sound to deliver a rich, powerful impact sound. Wilson envisions the DYNAPWR Max+ as suitable for a broad audience, from tour players and ambitious amateurs to single-digit and mid-handicap golfers, focusing on enhanced stability, forgiveness, and consistency from the tee. The DYNAPWR Max+ is available for pre-order starting January 29, 2026, priced at 500 euros.
