Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver: Ultimate Forgiveness for Every Player

Wilson introduces their most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for all player types and ultimate control. With the extension of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver characterized by maximum forgiveness and stability.

Focus on Stability and Customization at Wilson

The core feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time, offering increased head stability at impact for straighter shots and more consistent ball flights even with off-center hits. According to Wilson, this high MOI was achieved without increasing the total mass of the club head. The goal was to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds. The driver is also highly adjustable to fit different player types. A six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight in the rear of the club head allow individual tuning of launch angle and spin.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamics

The performance of the DYNAPWR Max+ is based on an enhanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response), focusing on improved performance in the heel area without compromising speed or consistency across the entire face. Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been significantly increased. A lighter and more precisely manufactured face saved around five grams, which were strategically relocated to the back of the club head, contributing substantially to the high MOI. Manufacturing precision was further optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits. Aerodynamically inspired surfaces additionally help increase clubhead speed.

Optimized Geometry and Head Shape with Enhanced Sound

The DYNAPWR Max+ features adjusted bulge and roll geometry for greater consistency with off-center hits. A rounder face enhances control of gear effect, stabilizing spin and distance on mishits. The driver includes a lightweight carbon crown and a newly designed head shape with larger usable volume. Lower crown height and reduced face mass provide more freedom in weight distribution, especially at the perimeter, further enhancing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ appeals to advanced players with a pronounced toe flare for greater confidence at address without compromising head stability.
