Wilson introduces their most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for every player type and ultimate control. With the expansion of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver focused on maximum forgiveness and stability: the DYNAPWR Max+. The key feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high Moment of Inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time, enhancing head stability at impact for straighter shots and more consistent ball flights even off the sweet spot. Wilson achieved this high MOI without increasing the total head mass, aiming to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds. The driver is highly adjustable, featuring a six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight at the rear of the clubhead, allowing players to customize launch angle and spin.
New Face Technology and Aerodynamics
The DYNAPWR Max+ performance is based on an advanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response), emphasizing improved heel-area performance without compromising speed or consistency across the face. Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has significantly improved. A lighter, more precisely manufactured face saves about five grams, relocated to the back of the head, boosting MOI further. Manufacturing precision is optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits. Aerodynamically inspired surfaces also contribute to higher clubhead speeds.
Optimized Geometry and Head Shape with Enhanced Sound
For greater consistency on off-center hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features adjusted bulge and roll geometry, with a rounder face that better controls gear effect, stabilizing spin and distance on mishits. The driver includes a lightweight carbon crown and a redesigned head shape with increased usable volume. Reduced crown height and face mass create more freedom for weight distribution, especially on the clubhead’s perimeter, further boosting forgiveness. The Max+ also appeals visually to serious players, with a pronounced toe flare providing more confidence at address without reducing head stability. In addition to performance and design, acoustics were fine-tuned through topology optimization, resulting in a rich, powerful sound at impact. Wilson positions the DYNAPWR Max+ as a driver for a broad range of players from touring pros to ambitious amateurs with single-digit and mid handicaps, focusing on greater stability, forgiveness, and consistency from the tee. The DYNAPWR Max+ is available for pre-order from January 29, 2026, priced at 500 euros.
