Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver: Maximum Forgiveness for Every Level

Wilson introduces its most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for all player types and maximum control.

Expanding the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver emphasizing maximum forgiveness and stability: the DYNAPWR Max+ Driver.

Focus on Stability and Customization at Wilson

The key feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time, offering greater clubhead stability at impact which translates to straighter shots and more consistent ball flights even when hitting off the sweet spot. According to Wilson, this high MOI was achieved without increasing the overall clubhead weight, aiming to blend stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds.

To accommodate different player types, the driver is highly adjustable. A six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight at the back of the clubhead allow players to fine-tune launch angle and spin individually.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamics

The DYNAPWR Max+’s performance is based on an enhanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response), focusing on improved heel-area performance without sacrificing speed or consistency across the entire face.

Compared to previous models, face insert control has been significantly increased. The lighter, more precisely manufactured face saves about five grams, which has been strategically shifted to the rear of the clubhead. This weight distribution contributes significantly to the high MOI. Additionally, manufacturing precision has been optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits. Aerodynamically inspired surfaces further boost clubhead speed.

Optimized Geometry and Clubhead Shape with Enhanced Sound

To improve consistency on off-center hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features adjusted bulge and roll geometry. A rounder face supports better gear effect control, maintaining spin and distance even on mishits.

The driver sports a lightweight carbon crown and a redesigned clubhead shape with increased usable volume. A lower crown height and reduced face mass provide extra freedom in weight distribution, especially in the outer areas of the clubhead, further enhancing forgiveness.
Visually, the Max+ appeals to skilled players with a pronounced toe flare designed to offer more confidence address without compromising clubhead stability.
