Wilson introduces its most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for every player type and maximum control.
Expanding the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches the new DYNAPWR Max+ driver, renowned for its maximum forgiveness and stability.
Focus on Stability and Personalization at Wilson
A key feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time. This provides greater clubhead stability at impact for straighter drives and more consistent ball flights, even on off-center hits. Wilson achieved this high MOI without increasing the clubhead’s total mass, aiming to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds.
The driver is highly adjustable to suit different playing styles, featuring a six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight at the rear of the clubhead to tailor launch angle and spin.
New Face Technology and Aerodynamics
The DYNAPWR Max+’s performance is based on an enhanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response), focusing on improved performance in the heel area without sacrificing speed or consistency across the entire face.
Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been significantly improved. A lighter, more precisely manufactured face saved about five grams of weight, strategically relocated to the back of the clubhead. This weight distribution contributes significantly to the high MOI. Manufacturing precision was further optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits. Aerodynamically inspired surfaces also aim to increase clubhead speed.
Optimized Geometry, Clubhead Shape, and Improved Sound
To enhance consistency on off-center hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features adjusted bulge and roll geometry. A rounder face supports better gear effect control, stabilizing spin and distance on mishits.
The driver includes a lightweight carbon crown and a redesigned clubhead shape with a larger usable volume. A lower crown height and reduced face mass provide additional freedom in weight distribution, particularly at the outer clubhead edges, further increasing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ appeals to skilled players, with a pronounced toe flare providing more confidence at address without compromising clubhead stability.
