Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver: Maximum Forgiveness for Every Level

Wilson introduces its most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for every player type and maximum control.

Expanding the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver focused on maximum forgiveness and stability. The new DYNAPWR Max+ driver boasts exceptional performance for golfers seeking consistent ball flights.

Focus on Stability and Customization at Wilson

The core feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time. This delivers enhanced clubhead stability at impact, resulting in straighter shots and more consistent ball flights even on off-center hits. According to Wilson, the high MOI was achieved without increasing the overall clubhead mass, aiming to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds.

The driver is highly adjustable to fit different player types, featuring a six-way adjustable hosel and a variable weight in the rear of the clubhead to fine-tune launch angle and spin.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamics

The DYNAPWR Max+ performance is based on an improved PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response), which emphasizes better performance in the heel area without sacrificing speed or consistency across the entire face.

Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been significantly enhanced. A lighter, more precisely crafted face saves about five grams that are redistributed toward the back of the clubhead. This weight distribution greatly contributes to the high MOI. Manufacturing precision has also been optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits. Aerodynamically inspired surfaces further aim to increase clubhead speed.

Optimized Geometry and Clubhead Shape with Enhanced Sound

The DYNAPWR Max+ features an adapted bulge and roll geometry for improved consistency on off-center hits. A rounder face shape helps control gear effect, maintaining spin and distance even on mis-hits.

Equipped with a lightweight carbon crown and a newly designed clubhead shape with increased usable volume, the driver lowers the crown height and reduces face mass, creating more freedom in weight distribution especially at the outer areas of the clubhead, enhancing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ is aimed at skilled players, featuring a pronounced toe flare for added confidence at address without compromising stability.
