Titleist Vokey SM11 Wedges: The New Generation Elevating Short Game Control

With the new Titleist Vokey SM11 wedges, Titleist expands its wedge lineup with models designed for consistent shot control, refined flight, and variety.

Titleist launches a new generation of wedges with the Vokey Design SM11 series. These models are engineered to maintain consistent ball contact, flight behavior, and spin across all lofts. Each loft’s variants are uniformly calibrated regardless of sole shape choice. The wedges are now available for fittings and will hit golf retailers worldwide starting February 20.

Titleist Introduces the Vokey Design SM11 Wedges

A key feature of the SM11 series is its broad selection, encompassing 27 combinations of loft, bounce, and grind across six sole shapes. New additions include a 44-degree wedge for finer short game adjustments and extra K-Grind variants with tailored bounce, catering to diverse playing styles and set configurations.

Titleist applies a unified flight path approach with the SM11 wedges, positioning the center of gravity identically within each loft across all sole types. This ensures flight characteristics remain stable even if a player switches grinds during fitting, aiming for consistent distance and flight control throughout variants.

Consistent Flight and Versatile Design

The center of gravity gradates through the loft range; lower lofts (44 to 52 degrees) align with iron flight patterns, while higher lofts (58 and 60 degrees) promote a slightly flatter ball flight. The 54 and 56-degree models sit between these extremes, helping each wedge in the set differentiate clearly.

The wedge faces are also optimized with distinct groove designs by loft; lower lofts feature grooves suited for full swings, and higher lofts have grooves enhancing ball contact during short shots and challenging lies. Groove volume has increased compared to previous models.

High-Quality Finishes and Options

A new face texture aligned with the stroke direction improves contact, especially on short chips around the green. Grooves receive heat treatment for long-lasting shape retention, with all faces thoroughly inspected before delivery. Available in 44 to 60 degrees for right and left-handers, finishes include Tour Chrome, Nickel, Jet Black, and a Raw Finish custom option. Shaft options cover various steel and graphite types paired with the Titleist Universal 360 grip.
