Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in their long game.
Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement irons segment with its new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models cater to golfers looking for added support and comfort in their long game. Whether players seek more distance, greater control, or simply a better feel, Srixon offers new options without compromising on design. The new irons round out the series and make entry into the ZXi iron world easier, combining a particularly soft feel with high forgiveness.
Srixon: New Material, New Feel
At the core of this development is a new material called i-ALLOY. According to Srixon, it is about ten percent softer than typical 431 stainless steel, resulting in less vibration and a softer feel at impact. Combined with a redesigned face technology known as the MainFrame pattern, this creates a smoother feel with increased ball speed. Additionally, the face design positions the sweet spot exactly where most players need it.

Design and Playability Enhancements
Visually, the irons maintain the characteristic ZXi cavity-back design with a sleek topline, but with some modifications. Wider soles, longer faces, and increased offset provide better confidence and feel, especially at address. The HL variant is designed for players with slower swing speeds, focusing on higher launch angles to aid ball flight for those needing extra help.
Fitting and Options Beyond the Standard
The ZXi family now includes seven models, offering a suitable iron for nearly every swing profile. Continuing its tradition, Srixon provides variability with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and numerous combinations to optimize setups for fitters and golfers alike. The new irons will be available for pre-order during fittings starting December 4, 2025, with an official launch on February 6, 2026. The price for a set of six irons is 1,049 euros, available in both steel and graphite shaft versions.
