Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Support in Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in the long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement iron segment with the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models cater to those looking for extra support and comfort in their swing—whether they want more distance, better control, or simply an improved feel. The new variants complete the ZXi series and make the entry easier by combining a soft feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of the development is a new material: i-ALLOY, said to be about ten percent softer than standard 431 steel, resulting in less vibration and a softer impact sensation. Paired with an enhanced face technology called the MainFrame pattern, this combination delivers a smoother feel with increased ball speed. The face design also places the sweet spot exactly where most players need it.

The irons maintain the classic ZXi aesthetics with a cavity-back design and sleek topline but feature wider soles, longer faces, and more offset for added confidence at address. The HL variant targets players with slower swing speeds focusing on higher launch angles to aid ball flight.

Fitting and Selection – Beyond Standard

The ZXi family now includes seven models, offering options for virtually every swing type. As before, Srixon emphasizes versatility with shaft options from KBS, grips by Golf Pride, and various combinations to help club fitters and players optimize their setups. The new irons are available for pre-order via fittings from December 4, 2025, with official release on February 6, 2026. The six-iron set is priced at €1,049, available in both steel and graphite shafts.
