Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in their long game.
With the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons, Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement iron segment – or better said: broadens it. These models are designed for players who want more support and comfort in their shots. Some seek more distance, others seek more control, or simply a better feel at impact. The new variants provide options for all these needs without compromising the design. They complete the ZXi series and ease the entry into the ZXi iron world, combining a soft feel with high forgiveness.
Srixon: New Material, New Feel
At the core of this development is a new material: i-ALLOY. According to Srixon, it is about ten percent softer than the usual 431 stainless steel, resulting in reduced vibrations and a softer impact feel. Combined with the redesigned face technology called MainFrame pattern, it creates a smoother feel along with higher ball speed. The face technology positions the sweet spot exactly where most players need it.

Visually, the irons remain true to themselves: cavity-back design, slim topline – the new irons carry the characteristic ZXi series signature with a few tweaks. Wider soles, longer faces and more offset provide confidence and a better feel, especially at address. The HL version is designed for players with slower swing speeds who focus on higher launch angles and need extra help getting the ball airborne.
Fitting and Options – Beyond Standard
The ZXi family now includes seven models, offering the right tools for practically every swing profile. Like previous models, Srixon emphasizes versatility with the ZXiR irons. Shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and numerous customization possibilities provide everything club fitters and players need to optimize their setup. Pre-orders begin December 4, 2025, through fittings, with an official launch on February 6, 2026. A set of six irons costs 1,049 euros, available in both steel and graphite shaft options.
