Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Support in Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in their long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the category of game-improvement irons with the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL models. These irons are designed for players who want more assistance and comfort in their long game, whether that means more distance, greater control, or a better feel at impact. The new models complement the ZXi series, making it easier to enter the world of ZXi irons while combining a soft feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of the development is a new material called i-ALLOY, which Srixon says is approximately ten percent softer than conventional 431 stainless steel. This softness reduces vibrations and provides a softer impact feel. Together with the revised MainFrame face technology, this results in a smoother feel and higher ball speeds. The sweet spot is precisely positioned where most players benefit the most.

Design and Playability Enhancements

The irons maintain the classic ZXi look with a cavity-back design and slim topline, but feature wider soles, longer faces, and increased offset to inspire confidence at address. The HL version targets players with slower swing speeds who seek higher launch angles and more help getting the ball airborne.

Fitting and Options Beyond Standard

The ZXi family now includes seven models, offering solutions for nearly every swing profile. Srixon delivers versatility with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and various configurations to help club fitters and players optimize their setups. These irons are available for pre-order through fittings starting December 4, 2025, with an official launch on February 6, 2026. Pricing for a set of six irons is 1,049 euros, available in steel or graphite shafts.
