Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Support in Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more assistance in their long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the category of game-improvement irons with the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL models. These irons target players who want more support and comfort in their shots, be it extra distance, better control, or simply a better feel. The new variants round out the series and ease entry into the world of ZXi irons, combining a soft feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

The core innovation is a new material called i-ALLOY, which is approximately ten percent softer than typical 431 steel, resulting in reduced vibrations and a softer impact feel. Coupled with an updated MainFrame face technology, this delivers a smoother strike and higher ball speeds. The sweet spot is strategically positioned where most players need it.

Visually, the irons maintain the ZXi series signature with a cavity-back design and slim topline, but feature broader soles, longer faces, and more offset to boost confidence at address. The HL variant targets players with slower swing speeds aiming for higher launch angles, providing additional help with ball flight.

Fitting and Selection — More than Standard

The ZXi family now includes seven models, catering to almost every swing profile. Srixon continues to emphasize variability with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and numerous combinations to aid club fitters and players alike in optimizing their setups. The new irons are available for pre-order with fittings starting December 4, 2025, and officially launch on February 6, 2026. The price for a set of six irons is 1,049 Euros, available in both steel and graphite shafts.
