Srixon ZXiR Irons: New Clubs for More Support in Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in their long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the game-improving iron segment with its new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models target golfers who want more support and comfort in their long game, whether it’s added distance, better control, or improved feel. The new irons complete the ZXi series and make it easier to enter the world of ZXi irons by combining a soft feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of the development is a new material called i-ALLOY, which Srixon claims is about ten percent softer than traditional 431 stainless steel, resulting in reduced vibrations and a softer impact feel. This, combined with a revamped face technology known as the MainFrame pattern, delivers a smoother feel along with higher ball speed. Furthermore, the sweet spot is precisely positioned where most players need it.

Classic Look with Enhanced Playability

The irons maintain the signature ZXi look with a cavity-back design and slim topline but feature wider soles, longer faces, and more offset to increase confidence at setup. The HL model is designed for golfers with slower clubhead speeds who seek higher launch angles for improved ball flight.

Fitting and Choices for Every Swing

The ZXi family now includes seven models, offering tools suited to nearly every swing profile. As with previous models, the ZXiR irons emphasize variability with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and many combinations to help fitters and players optimize their setups. The new irons are available for pre-order starting December 4, 2025, exclusively through fittings, with an official release on February 6, 2026. The price for a set of six irons is 1,049 euros, in both steel and graphite shaft versions.
