Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Support for Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in their long game.

With the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons, Srixon raises the bar in the segment of game-improvement irons, or rather broadens it. These models target all players looking for more assistance and comfort in their shots. Some want more distance, others more control, or simply a better feel at impact. The new variants provide exactly that — adding options without losing sight of design. They complete the series and ease entry into the ZXi iron world by combining a particularly soft feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of development is a new material called i-ALLOY. According to Srixon, it is about ten percent softer than standard 431 steel, resulting in less vibration and a softer impact feel. Paired with an updated face technology named MainFrame pattern, it delivers a calmer impact feel with increased ball speed. Additionally, the redesigned face positions the sweet spot exactly where most players need it.

The irons maintain the classic ZXi look: cavity-back design and slim topline, with some adjustments. Wider soles, longer faces, and more offset help create confidence and a solid feel, especially at address. The HL model is specifically designed for players with slower swing speeds focusing on higher launch angles who need extra help getting the ball airborne.

Fitting and Options – More Than Standard

The ZXi family now includes seven models, providing suitable tools for almost every swing profile. Continuing with previous models’ versatility, Srixon offers shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and numerous combinations to optimize setups for fitters and golfers alike. The new irons are available for preorder with fittings starting December 4, 2025, and officially on sale February 6, 2026. The price for six irons is 1,049 euros, available in both steel and graphite shafts.
