Srixon ZXiR Irons: New Options for Enhanced Long Game Performance

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in their long game.

Srixon raises the bar in game-improvement irons with the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL models designed to offer greater support and comfort for players seeking more distance, control, or feel at impact. These options complement the existing ZXi series, combining a soft feel with high forgiveness to broaden accessibility to the ZXi iron family.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of these irons is i-ALLOY, a material approximately ten percent softer than standard 431 stainless steel, reducing vibrations and delivering a softer impact sensation. Paired with the MainFrame face technology, this results in a more stable feel and increased ball speed. The sweet spot has been repositioned to align with the typical point of contact for most golfers.

Design and Performance Enhancements

Visually faithful to the ZXi series with a cavity-back design and sleek topline, the new irons feature wider soles, longer clubfaces, and increased offset to boost confidence and improve turf interaction. The HL variant targets players with slower swing speeds who benefit from higher launch angles for easier ball flight.

Fitting and Availability

The ZXi family now includes seven models, catering to virtually every swing profile. Srixon emphasizes customization with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and other fitting choices to optimize performance. The new irons will be available for pre-order starting December 4, 2025, through fittings, with an official launch on February 6, 2026. The six-iron set retails for €1,049 in both steel and graphite shaft configurations.
