Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in the long game.
Srixon’s new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons raise the bar in the game-improvement iron segment by offering broader options for players seeking more support and comfort in their long game. These models cater to golfers looking for more distance, better control, or simply a better feel at impact. The new variants are designed to complete the ZXi series and ease the entry into the ZXi irons world by combining a soft feel with high forgiveness.
Srixon: New Material, New Feel
At the core of the development is a new material called i-ALLOY, which Srixon claims to be about ten percent softer than standard 431 stainless steel, resulting in reduced vibrations and a softer feel. Paired with an updated face technology called MainFrame, these irons deliver a smoother feel with higher ball speed. The sweet spot is strategically positioned where most players need it for better shot consistency.

Design and Playability Improvements
The irons maintain the distinctive ZXi series look with a cavity-back design and a sleek topline but feature wider soles, longer faces, and more offset to provide confidence and a better feel at address. The HL model targets players with slower swing speeds who benefit from higher launch angles, assisting those needing more help with ball flight.
Fitting and Options Beyond Standard
The ZXi family now includes seven models, offering nearly every swing profile a suitable iron. Like earlier models, the ZXiR irons emphasize customization with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and various combinations to help fitters and players optimize their setup. The irons are available for pre-order within fittings starting December 4, 2025, with an official launch on February 6, 2026. Pricing for a set of six irons is €1,049 for both steel and graphite shaft versions.
