The New Scotty Cameron Phantom Putter Offers Maximum Versatility

The new Scotty Cameron Phantom combines a soft feel with precise distance control and offers various customization options.

Precision and Distance Control: The New Scotty Cameron Phantom Generation

With the 2026 Phantom series, Scotty Cameron elevates its mallet putters to a new performance level. Developed based on extensive feedback from tour players and crafted with the highest precision, Titleist presents a completely redesigned Phantom family that features a softer feel, more precise distance control, and a noticeable boost in confidence at setup.

The new line centers on three tour-inspired head shapes: Phantom 5, Phantom 7, and Phantom 9R. A total of nine model, shaft, and hosel combinations ensure that a wide range of player profiles and putting styles are optimally addressed, making it the most versatile Phantom generation to date.

New Core: Studio Carbon Steel and Maximum Customizability

All 2026 Phantom mallets feature a full-surface Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) face insert. The new chain-link milling reduces contact points between the face and ball, producing a particularly soft sound, short impact tone, and sensitive feedback without sacrificing ball speed. The higher carbon content dampens vibrations significantly more than previous metal inserts.

Additionally, Scotty Cameron expands shaft and hosel options: plumbing and jet neck, mid- and double-bend, and for the first time, the Onset-Center (OC) low-torque configuration. The new Phantom 5 OC is specifically designed for players with a straight, square putting stroke seeking minimal shaft twisting. The new double-bend shafts in the Phantom 7 offer a more face-balanced feel and a different look.

Tour-Inspired Design for Greater Setup Stability

Subtle but crucial design adjustments characterize the new Phantom series. Higher faces and modified crowns create a more harmonious topline radius and improve visual alignment.

The sole construction has also been revised: a flatter sole with an increased contact area makes it easier to set the putter down. It sits more steadily on the ground regardless of hand position or setup, providing a clear advantage for consistency and repeatability.

The modified jet neck hosel on the .5 models is visually more subtle, longer, yet maintains the same offset and toe flow as the previous generation.
