Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
With the VENTUS TR Blue, Fujikura launches a new model built on a familiar foundation. The new version retains the proven mid-launch/low-spin characteristics of its predecessor while adding an internal update: VeloCore+ technology, which Fujikura states brings enhanced stability and consistency to the shaft.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, the company’s 3D motion capture technology that allows detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data gathered directly influenced the new model’s design, which Fujikura says is optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel with New Details
The VENTUS TR Blue is designed for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. The new material combination of VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon aims to provide greater shaft stability under high load conditions. Fujikura maintains the balance between feel and control. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black, the new TR Blue closed a portfolio gap. According to product manager TJ Spidle, internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for most tested players, catering to those wanting a stable but not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Different Player Types
The shaft will be available in multiple weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra Stiff. The VENTUS TR Blue launches in retail on January 9, 2026, through authorized dealers and selected custom-fit programs.
