Fujikura VENTUS TR Blue: Next Generation with VeloCore+ Technology

Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.

With the VENTUS TR Blue, Fujikura launches a new model built on a familiar foundation. The new version retains the proven mid-launch/low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but adds an internal update: VeloCore+, a technology designed to bring more stability and consistency to the shaft, according to Fujikura.

Fujikura: In-House Technology

Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, a 3D motion capture technology that allows detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data gathered directly informed the construction of the new model, which Fujikura says is optimized for energy transfer and control.

Familiar Feel, New Details

The VENTUS TR Blue is designed for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. The new material combination – VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon – aims to provide greater shaft stability under high loads. Fujikura maintains the balance between feel and control. The company positions the TR Blue between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black models. Product manager TJ Spidle reports that internal testing showed increased clubhead speed for most test players. This model fills a gap in the lineup, catering to those wanting a stable but not overly stiff shaft profile.

Multiple Options for Different Player Types

The shaft is available in several weight classes from 50 to 90 grams and flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. The VENTUS TR Blue will be available from authorized dealers and selected custom-fit programs starting January 9, 2026.
