Fujikura VENTUS TR Blue: Next Generation Shaft with VeloCore+ for 2026

Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.

The VENTUS TR Blue is a new model from Fujikura built on a proven foundation. The new version maintains the trusted mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but adds an internal upgrade called VeloCore+, which aims to deliver increased stability and consistency.

Fujikura: In-House Technology

Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, a 3D motion capture technology that allows detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data obtained directly informed the design of the new model, which Fujikura says has been optimized for energy transfer and control.

Familiar Feel with New Details

The VENTUS TR Blue is targeted at players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. Its new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—is designed to enhance shaft stability under high stress. Fujikura positions the TR Blue between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black shafts. According to product manager TJ Spidle, internal testing showed increased clubhead speed for most test players. The shaft fills a portfolio gap and suits players wanting a stable yet not overly stiff profile.

Multiple Options for Different Player Types

The shaft will be available in various weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be available through authorized dealers and selected custom-fit programs.
