Fujikura VENTUS TR Blue: Next Generation Shaft with VeloCore+

Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.

Fujikura launches the VENTUS TR Blue, a new model building on a well-known foundation. The new version retains the proven mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but adds an internal update: VeloCore+ technology aims to bring increased stability and consistency.

Fujikura: In-House Technology

Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, a 3D motion-capture technology exclusive to the company, enabling detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data gathered directly influenced the construction of the new model, which Fujikura says has been optimized for energy transfer and control.

Familiar Feel with New Enhancements

The VENTUS TR Blue is designed for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. The new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—aims to provide greater stability in the shaft under high stress. Fujikura maintains a balance between feel and control. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black, the TR Blue closes a gap in the portfolio, targeting players who want a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile. According to product manager TJ Spidle, internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for most players.

Multiple Options for Different Player Types

The shaft is available in weights from 50 to 90 grams and flex options from Regular to Extra-Stiff. The VENTUS TR Blue will be available in authorized retail stores and select custom-fit programs starting January 9, 2026.
