Fujikura is kicking off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring innovative VeloCore+ technology.
Fujikura introduces the VENTUS TR Blue, a new model built on a trusted foundation. The updated shaft retains the mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor and incorporates the new VeloCore+ technology, aiming to enhance stability and consistency according to the manufacturer.
Fujikura: In-House Technology Development
Like its predecessor, the new VENTUS TR Blue was developed using Fujikura’s enso® system, a 3D motion-capture technology that allows detailed analysis of shaft movement. The data collected contributed directly to the construction of the new model, which is optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel with New Features
The VENTUS TR Blue is designed for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing style. The new material combination of VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon aims to provide added stability under high stress while maintaining a balance of feel and control. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black, internal tests reported by product manager TJ Spidle showed increased clubhead speed for most testers, filling a gap in Fujikura’s portfolio and catering to those wanting a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Different Player Types
The shaft is available in various weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. The VENTUS TR Blue will be available through authorized dealers and selected custom-fit programs starting January 9, 2026.
