Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
Fujikura introduces the VENTUS TR Blue, a new model built on a familiar foundation. This latest version maintains the proven mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor while adding an internal update: VeloCore+, a technology aimed at increasing stability and consistency.
Fujikura: In-House Technology Advances Shaft Performance
Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, a 3D motion-capture technology by Fujikura that analyzes shaft movements in detail. Data gathered through this system directly informed the design of the new model, which enhances energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel with New Innovations
The VENTUS TR Blue is designed especially for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing style. The new material combination of VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon improves shaft stability under high stress. Fujikura positions the TR Blue between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black shafts. Product manager TJ Spidle noted that internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for the majority of players, filling a gap in the product line by offering a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Different Player Types
The shaft is available in various weights ranging from 50 to 90 grams and flex options from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be available through authorized retailers and selected custom-fit programs.
