Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
With the VENTUS TR Blue, Fujikura launches a new model built on a familiar foundation. The new version retains the proven mid-launch and low-spin characteristics of its predecessor, but introduces an internal update called VeloCore+ technology, which Fujikura claims brings enhanced stability and consistency.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Similar to the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the company’s enso® system, a 3D motion capture technology that allows detailed analysis of the shaft’s movements. The data gathered directly influenced the design of the new model, which Fujikura says has been optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel with New Details
The VENTUS TR Blue is designed especially for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. The new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—is intended to provide greater stability throughout the shaft under high stress. Fujikura states that the balance between feel and control is maintained. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black models, the new TR Blue aims to fill a gap in the portfolio. According to product manager TJ Spidle, internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for most test players. The shaft targets those desiring a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Different Player Types
The shaft will be available in various weights ranging from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be available through authorized dealers and selected custom-fit programs.
