Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
Fujikura introduces the VENTUS TR Blue, a new model built on a proven foundation. This updated version retains the well-known mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but incorporates an internal upgrade with the VeloCore+ technology, designed to enhance stability and consistency.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Similar to the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, a 3D motion capture technology that allows detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data collected directly informed the design of the new model, which Fujikura claims is optimized for energy transfer and control.
A Familiar Feel with New Details
The VENTUS TR Blue is targeted at players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing style. The new material blend—VeloCore+ combined with Spread Tow Carbon—aims to provide greater stability under high stress while maintaining the balance between feel and control. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black models, internal tests led by product manager TJ Spidle showed increased clubhead speed for most testers. This model fills a gap in the portfolio, designed for those wanting a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Different Player Types
The shaft is available in weight classes ranging from 50 to 90 grams and flex options from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be available through authorized dealers and select custom-fit programs.
