Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
The VENTUS TR Blue from Fujikura builds on a well-known foundation. The new version retains the proven mid-launch/low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but adds an internal update: VeloCore+ technology, which Fujikura claims offers greater stability and consistency.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, a 3D motion capture technology from the company that allows detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data gathered directly informed the design of the new model, optimized for energy transfer and control according to Fujikura.
Familiar Feel, New Details
The VENTUS TR Blue is designed especially for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing style. The new material combination of VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon aims to provide increased shaft stability under high stress. Fujikura says the balance between feel and control is maintained. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black in the lineup, product manager TJ Spidle notes that internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for most testers. The model fills a gap in the portfolio for those seeking a stable but not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Different Player Types
The shaft is offered in multiple weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. It will be available from January 9, 2026, through authorized retailers and select custom-fit programs.
