The new VENTUS TR Blue shaft with fresh VeloCore+ technology marks Fujikura’s start into 2026.
Fujikura launches the VENTUS TR Blue, a new shaft model building on a proven foundation. The new version maintains the well-known mid-launch and low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but is enhanced internally with the VeloCore+ technology, which Fujikura claims delivers greater stability and consistency in play.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Like the previous VENTUS TR, the latest version was developed using the enso® system, the company’s 3D motion-capture technology that allows detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data collected fed directly into the design of the new model, which Fujikura says is optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel with New Details
The VENTUS TR Blue is aimed at players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. The new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—targets enhanced stability under high load along the shaft’s length. Balance between feel and control remains intact according to Fujikura. The company positions the TR Blue between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black models. Product manager TJ Spidle noted increased clubhead speed in most internal testers. This model fills a portfolio gap and suits players looking for a stable, yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Diverse Options for Different Player Types
The shaft is available in various weights from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be available through authorized retailers and selected custom-fit programs.
