The two German players, Bernhard Langer and Alex Cejka, both finished the three-round tournament near the Top 10 of the leaderboard.

Stewart Cink started on Thursday with a 66, placing himself early among the leaders. Despite a bogey on hole 16 in the second round, he delivered an outstanding 63 on Friday, including ten birdies. With a final round of 64, totaling 23-under par, Cink shone at the top of the leaderboard.
Following him was Argentine Ángel Cabrera, who impressed with an eagle in the final round and played a 66 with five birdies and one bogey. Cabrera became especially dangerous on day two, moving confidently into third place. He also posted an outstanding 62 on Friday. The 56-year-old from Córdoba province played the front nine flawless with five birdies and an eagle, while the back nine featured five birdies and two bogeys on holes 11 and 17. Despite finishing three strokes behind Cink, Cabrera secured second place two strokes clear of South African Retief Goosen.

Bernhard Langer steadily improved his position during the Hawaii tournament, finishing in the Top 10. He started with a 70 on Thursday from the middle of the field.
