Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver: Maximum Forgiveness for Every Level

Wilson presents their most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for every player type and maximum control. With the expansion of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver that stands out for maximum forgiveness and stability: the new DYNAPWR Max+ driver.

Focus on Stability and Customization at Wilson

The standout feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time, delivering more clubhead stability at impact. This leads to straighter drives and more consistent ball flights even on off-center hits. According to Wilson, this high MOI was achieved without increasing the overall clubhead mass. The aim is to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds.

The driver is highly adjustable to accommodate different playing styles. A six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight in the back of the clubhead allow players to customize launch angle and spin.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamics

The DYNAPWR Max+ performance is based on an enhanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response), emphasizing improved performance in the heel area without sacrificing speed or consistency across the face.

Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, the control of the face insert has been significantly enhanced. By manufacturing a lighter and more precise face, approximately five grams of weight were saved and strategically repositioned to the back of the clubhead. This weight distribution greatly contributes to the high MOI. The manufacturing precision was further optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA regulations. Aerodynamically inspired surfaces also aim to increase clubhead speed.

Optimized Geometry and Clubhead Shape with Improved Sound

For more consistency on off-center hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features adjusted bulge and roll geometry. A rounder face supports better gear effect control, helping spin and distance remain stable even on mishits.

The driver is equipped with a lightweight carbon crown and a newly designed clubhead shape offering greater usable volume. A lower crown height and reduced face mass provide additional freedom in weight distribution, especially toward the outer areas of the clubhead, further enhancing forgiveness.
Visually, the Max+ also appeals to skilled players. A pronounced toe flare provides greater visual confidence at address without compromising head stability.
