Wilson launches its most forgiving driver yet: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for every player type and maximum control. With the expansion of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf introduces a new driver known for maximum forgiveness and stability – the new DYNAPWR Max+ Driver.
Focus on Stability and Customization at Wilson
The standout feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its exceptionally high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time, providing greater head stability at impact for straighter shots and more consistent ball flights even on off-center hits. Wilson achieved this high MOI without increasing the overall mass of the clubhead, aiming to blend stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds.
This driver also offers extensive adjustability to fit different player types, including a six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight in the back of the clubhead to individually tune launch angle and spin.
New Face Technology and Aerodynamics
The performance of the DYNAPWR Max+ relies on an advanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response), emphasizing improved performance particularly in the heel area without compromising speed or consistency across the face.
Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been significantly enhanced. A lighter and more precisely manufactured face saves around five grams of weight, relocated strategically to the rear of the clubhead. This weight distribution is key to the high MOI. Manufacturing precision has also been improved to maximize ball speed within USGA limits, while aerodynamically inspired surfaces boost clubhead speed.
Optimized Geometry, Clubhead Design, and Enhanced Sound
To improve consistency on off-center hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features adjusted bulge and roll geometry. A rounder face helps better control gear effect, stabilizing spin and distance even on mis-hits.
The driver includes a lightweight carbon crown and a redesigned clubhead shape with increased usable volume. A lower crown height and reduced face mass create more freedom in weight distribution, especially toward the outer areas of the clubhead, further enhancing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ appeals to skilled players with a pronounced toe flare providing confidence at address without compromising head stability.
