Wilson unveils its most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for all player types and ultimate control.
Expanding the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver characterized by maximum forgiveness and stability: the new DYNAPWR Max+ driver.
Focus on Stability and Customization at Wilson
The key feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high Moment of Inertia (MOI), which surpasses 10,000 for the first time, providing greater clubhead stability at impact, resulting in straighter shots and more consistent ball flights even on off-center hits. According to Wilson, the high MOI was achieved without increasing the overall weight of the clubhead, aiming to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds.
To suit different player types, the driver is highly adjustable. A six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight in the rear of the clubhead allow for individualized launch angle and spin settings.
New Face Technology and Aerodynamics
The DYNAPWR Max+’s performance is based on an advanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response) that enhances heel area performance without compromising speed or consistency across the entire face.
Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been significantly improved. A lighter and more precisely manufactured face saved about five grams, strategically shifted to the rear of the clubhead. This weight distribution greatly contributes to the high MOI. Manufacturing precision was further optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits, while aerodynamically inspired surfaces help increase clubhead speed.
Optimized Geometry and Head Shape with Improved Sound
For greater consistency on off-center hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features an adjusted bulge and roll geometry. A rounder face supports better gear effect control, stabilizing spin and distance even on mishits.
The driver includes a lightweight carbon crown and a redesigned head shape with increased usable volume. A lower crown height and reduced face mass allow more freedom in weight distribution, especially to the outer areas of the clubhead, further enhancing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ also appeals to skilled players, with a pronounced toe flare providing visual confidence without compromising head stability.
