Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver Offers Maximum Forgiveness for All Levels

Wilson introduces its most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for every player type and maximum control. With the expansion of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver focusing on maximum forgiveness and stability. The key feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its exceptionally high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time, providing greater clubhead stability at impact for straighter shots and more consistent ball flights even on off-center hits. According to Wilson, this high MOI is achieved without increasing the overall clubhead mass, aiming to combine forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds. The driver is extensively adjustable to suit different player types, featuring a six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight in the rear of the clubhead to customize launch angle and spin. The driver’s performance is based on an advanced PKR360 (Peak Kinetic Response) face construction, improving performance in the heel area without sacrificing speed or consistency across the face. Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been enhanced by reducing about five grams of weight and repositioning it to the rear of the clubhead, which contributes significantly to the high MOI. Manufacturing precision is optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits, and aerodynamic-inspired surfaces help increase clubhead speed. For better consistency on off-center strikes, the DYNAPWR Max+ features an optimized bulge and roll geometry, while its rounder face helps control gear effect, stabilizing spin and distance even on mishits. The driver sports a lightweight carbon crown and a redesigned head shape with increased usable volume, lowering crown height and face mass to allow more freedom in weight distribution, especially at the outer areas of the clubhead, which enhances forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ appeals also to skilled players with a pronounced toe flare providing more visual confidence without compromising stability. In addition to performance and design, Wilson engineers tuned the driver’s acoustics using topology optimization to deliver a rich, powerful sound at impact. Wilson positions the DYNAPWR Max+ as a driver for a wide target group ranging from tour players and ambitious amateurs to single-digit and mid-handicap players, focusing on enhanced stability, forgiveness, and consistency off the tee. The DYNAPWR Max+ will be available for pre-order starting January 29, 2026, priced at 500 euros.
