Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver: Maximum Forgiveness for Every Player

Wilson introduces its most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+, designed for every player type and ultimate control. With the expansion of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver emphasizing maximum forgiveness and stability: the DYNAPWR Max+. The core feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its exceptionally high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing 10,000 for the first time, enhancing clubhead stability at impact for straighter drives and more consistent ball flights even on off-center hits. According to Wilson, this high MOI was achieved without increasing the overall clubhead mass, aiming to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds. The driver is highly adjustable to suit different player types, featuring a six-way adjustable hosel and movable weight at the rear of the clubhead to fine-tune launch angle and spin. The performance is based on an advanced PKR360 face construction focusing on improved heel-area performance without sacrificing speed or consistency across the face. Compared to earlier DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been significantly enhanced; a lighter, more precise face shaving around five grams has been relocated to the back of the clubhead, contributing to the high MOI. Manufacturing precision is further optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits, while aerodynamically inspired surfaces are designed to boost clubhead speed. The DYNAPWR Max+ also features optimized bulge and roll geometry for greater consistency on mishits, with a rounder face improving gear effect control to stabilize spin and distance on off-center shots. It sports a lightweight carbon crown and redesigned clubhead shape with increased usable volume, a lower crown height, and reduced face mass allowing more freedom in weight distribution—especially at the clubhead’s perimeter—further enhancing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ targets skilled players with a pronounced toe flare providing confidence at address without compromising clubhead stability. Acoustics were also addressed through topology optimization, delivering a rich, powerful impact sound. Wilson positions the DYNAPWR Max+ as a driver for a broad range of players from tour professionals to ambitious amateurs and those with single-digit and mid-handicaps, focusing clearly on increased stability, forgiveness, and consistency off the tee. The DYNAPWR Max+ will be available for pre-order starting January 29, 2026, priced at 500 euros.
