Wilson DYNAPWR Max+ Driver: Maximum Forgiveness for Every Player Level

Wilson introduces its most forgiving driver ever: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for all player types and maximum control. With the expansion of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf launches a new driver focused on maximum forgiveness and stability: the new DYNAPWR Max+ driver.

Focus on Stability and Customization at Wilson

The core feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high moment of inertia (MOI), surpassing the 10,000 mark for the first time to provide increased head stability at impact, resulting in straighter shots and more consistent ball flights even on off-center hits. According to Wilson, this high MOI was achieved without increasing the overall clubhead weight. The goal was to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds.

The driver is extensively adjustable to suit different player types. A six-way adjustable hosel and a movable weight in the back of the clubhead allow individual tuning of launch angle and spin.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamics

The performance of the DYNAPWR Max+ is based on an advanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response), emphasizing improved performance in the heel area without compromising speed or consistency across the entire face.

Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, face insert control has been significantly enhanced. A lighter, more precisely manufactured face saved around five grams of weight, which was strategically relocated to the rear of the clubhead, greatly contributing to the high MOI. Manufacturing precision has also been improved to maximize ball speed within USGA limits. Aerodynamically inspired surfaces additionally help increase clubhead speeds.

Optimized Geometry, Head Shape, and Enhanced Sound

For more consistency on off-center hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features adjusted bulge and roll geometry. A rounder face improves gear effect control, keeping spin and distance more stable on mishits.

The driver includes a lightweight carbon crown and a redesigned head shape with greater usable volume. A lower crown height and reduced face mass provide more freedom for weight distribution, particularly towards the outer areas of the clubhead, further enhancing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ also appeals to skilled players with a pronounced toe flare for added confidence at address without compromising clubhead stability.
