XXIO expands its golf ball lineup with the new Hyper RD golf ball, designed for golfers seeking a high, stable ball flight combined with a soft feel and strong compatibility with XXIO clubs.
The Hyper RD is engineered for a high launch angle and relatively low spin to create a more consistent, higher ball flight with ample carry that remains stable even in challenging windy conditions. This is made possible by XXIO’s Rebound-Frame structure, which efficiently deforms the ball at impact to favor launch angle without requiring golfers to change their swing.
The ball features an advanced three-piece construction, with a highly resilient mid-layer that reduces excessive spin and promotes forward ball speed, while the core is optimized for consistent energy transfer across various swing speeds, resulting in steady distance and predictable performance.
Additional aerodynamics are provided by the new 362 Speed Dimple pattern, consisting of seven differently sized dimples that reduce air resistance and help maintain speed and flight stability until landing.
For short game performance, the Hyper RD uses a newly developed Hyper Soft Cover made of ionomer, offering increased grip on pitches, chips, and short iron shots, reliable spin, and a soft urethane-like feel without compromising durability and longevity.
