Wilson unveils its most forgiving driver yet: the Dynapwr Max+. Designed for all player types and maximum control. With the expansion of the DYNAPWR series, Wilson Golf introduces a new driver to the market. The new DYNAPWR Max+ driver stands out for its maximum forgiveness and stability.
Focus on Stability and Customization at Wilson
The central feature of the DYNAPWR Max+ is its extremely high moment of inertia (MOI), which surpasses the 10,000 mark for the first time, ensuring greater head stability at impact and thus straighter drives and more consistent ball flights even on off-center hits. According to Wilson, the high MOI was achieved without increasing the overall mass of the clubhead. The goal was to combine stability and forgiveness with high clubhead and ball speeds.
To suit different player types, the driver is extensively adjustable. A six-way adjustable hosel and variable weighting in the rear of the clubhead allow for individual tuning of launch angle and spin.
New Face Technology and Aerodynamics
The performance of the DYNAPWR Max+ is based on an advanced PKR360 face construction (Peak Kinetic Response). This technology emphasizes improved performance in the heel area without compromising speed or consistency across the entire face.
Compared to previous DYNAPWR models, control of the face insert has been significantly increased. A lighter and more precisely manufactured face saved about five grams of weight, which was strategically shifted to the rear of the clubhead. This weight distribution contributes significantly to the high MOI. At the same time, manufacturing precision was further optimized to maximize ball speed within USGA limits. Aerodynamically inspired surfaces are designed to additionally boost clubhead speed.
Optimized Geometry and Clubhead Shape with Better Sound
For more consistency on off-center hits, the DYNAPWR Max+ features an adjusted bulge-and-roll geometry. A rounder face supports better control of gear effect, helping spin and distance remain more stable even on mishits.
The driver includes a lightweight carbon crown and a newly designed clubhead shape with larger usable volume. A lower crown height and reduced face mass provide additional freedom in weight distribution, especially at the outer areas of the clubhead, further increasing forgiveness. Visually, the Max+ appeals to experienced players with a distinctive toe flare providing more visual confidence without compromising clubhead stability.
