Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic looks with modern face technology.
Titleist’s Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary introduces three new putter models in their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the lineup, complementing Scotty Cameron’s existing blades and mid-mallets. These putters are designed for varying toe-flow profiles and stroke types.
The Studio-Style line combines classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with new mid-mallet designs. The focus is on evolving well-known designs with technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speed. At the core is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern. This construction influences the sound and vibration at impact without changing feedback or ball launch consistency.
Scotty Cameron Santa Fe
The Santa Fe model draws on a decades-old design, resembling the Newport in head shape. Its curved hosel creates pronounced toe flow, benefiting golfers with a pronounced arc stroke and enhancing the perception of face angle throughout the stroke. The classic look is enhanced by modern manufacturing and current face technology.
Scotty Cameron Fastback 2
The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. A plumbing-neck hosel encourages moderate toe flow for a slight inside-to-inside stroke path. The putter head features a milled steel body with a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel to increase perimeter weighting and provide an alignment aid. This model is also available for left-handed players.
Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 Long Design
The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2. While retaining the head shape and hosel, it is built for additional stability. Measuring 38 inches with tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, it targets players seeking a smoother, more consistent stroke. A left-handed version is also available.
Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control
All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with chain-link milling. Internal tests favored carbon steel over other materials for its reduced vibration duration, producing a short, controlled sound. The material also supports consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern reduces contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound.
The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are available in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is offered only in 38 inches at €599 MSRP. The new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retailers since February 12.
