Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic looks with modern face technology.
The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist introduces three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the collection, complementing Scotty Cameron’s existing line of blades and mid-mallets. These putters are designed to accommodate different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.
The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. At its core is an evolution of well-known designs enhanced by technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speed. Central to this technology is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with a chain-link milling pattern that influences sound and vibration at impact without affecting feedback or ball roll consistency.
New Scotty Cameron Studio-Style Putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design
The Santa Fe adopts a design inspired by the classic Newport, featuring a curved hosel to promote pronounced toe flow, ideal for players with a strong arced putting stroke, enhancing the perception of face angle throughout the stroke. This traditional look is paired with modern manufacturing techniques and the latest face technology.
The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. A plumbing-neck hosel encourages moderate toe flow for a slight inside-to-inside stroke. It has a milled steel body complemented by a black anodized aluminum insert between the toe and heel, increasing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is also available.
The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier variant of the Fastback 2 with the same head shape and hosel but enhanced stability. It measures 38 inches with tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, designed for players seeking a smoother, more consistent putting stroke. This model is also offered in a left-handed version.
Face Insert and Design: Focused on Feedback and Control
All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling structure. Internal tests favored carbon steel over other materials for its ability to reduce vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speed. The insert is protected by a nickel coating enhancing durability, and the milling reduces contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound.
The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are offered in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is available only in 38 inches, priced at €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available from golf retailers since February 12.
