Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Series with Three New Putters

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic design with modern face technology. The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist presents three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters aim to complete the line within the putter family, complementing Scotty Cameron’s series of blades and mid-mallets. These putters are configured to suit different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes. The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly designed mid-mallet constructions, focusing on evolved designs enhanced with technical adjustments for controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. Central to these models is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert paired with a Chain-Link milling pattern, which affects sound and vibration at impact without altering feedback or ball launch consistency. The Scotty Cameron Santa Fe model draws on a decades-old design resembling the Newport, featuring a curved hosel for pronounced toe flow, beneficial for players with a pronounced arced putting stroke and helps with face angle awareness through the stroke. Its classic appearance is enhanced with modern manufacturing techniques and the latest face technology. The Fastback 2 is designed as a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback, featuring a plumbing-neck hosel providing moderate toe flow to encourage a slight inside-to-inside stroke. Its putter head is a milled steel body complemented by a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel, increasing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. This model is also available for left-handed players. The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2 with the same shape and hosel but enhanced stability. Measuring 38 inches with increased head weight due to tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, this variant targets players seeking a more stable and smoother putting stroke, also offered in a left-handed version. All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a Chain-Link milling pattern. Carbon steel was preferred in internal comparisons due to reduced vibration duration on impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The special milling pattern also reduces contact points between ball and face to further dampen sound. The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, retailing at €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design is only available in 38 inches, priced at €599. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retail since February 12.
