Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Line with Three New Putters

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic design with modern face technology.

The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist has introduced three new putter models in their Studio-Style line. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the range within the putter family, with Scotty Cameron consistently expanding its series of blades and mid-mallets. The putter configurations are designed for different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line combines classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus is on the evolution of well-known designs, complemented by technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A central feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with a chain-link milling structure. This construction influences sound and vibration at impact without changing feedback or consistency of ball launch.

Scotty Cameron Santa Fe

Among the Studio-Style family, three models have been introduced. The Santa Fe draws on a design known for decades and is shaped closely to the Newport. The curved hosel produces pronounced toe flow, catering especially to players with a clearly arced putting stroke and supporting the perception of face angle throughout the stroke. The classic look is complemented by modern manufacturing techniques and current face technology.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. A plumbing-neck hosel provides moderate toe flow, favoring a slight inside-to-inside putting stroke. The putter head is a milled steel body enhanced by a black anodized aluminum inlay between toe and heel. This multi-material design increases perimeter weighting and serves as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is also available.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 Long Design

The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer and heavier version of the Fastback 2. The head shape and hosel match the standard model but are optimized for additional stability. With a length of 38 inches, increased head weight via tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, this variant is aimed at players seeking a smoother and more consistent putting stroke. It is also offered in a left-handed model.

Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature a Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling structure. Carbon steel was preferred over other materials in internal tests due to its shorter vibration duration at impact, producing a concise, controlled sound. The material also supports consistent ball speeds. A nickel coating protects the insert and contributes to putter durability. The special milling pattern reduces contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 models are available in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches and retail for €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design is only available in 38 inches, retailing at €599. These new Studio-Style line putters have been available in golf retail since February 12.
