Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Line with Three New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic looks with modern face technology. The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist unveils three new models in its Studio-Style putter family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design complete the line-up, complementing Scotty Cameron’s blade and mid-mallet series. These putters offer varied toe-flow profiles tailored to different putting strokes.

Classic Designs Meet Modern Technology

The Studio-Style line combines traditional Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus lies on refined, proven designs enhanced by technical adjustments aiming for controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. Central is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern, which impacts sound and vibration at impact without affecting feedback or ball roll consistency.

Details on the New Models

The Santa Fe model evokes the long-standing Newport design, featuring a curved hosel to encourage pronounced toe flow, ideal for players with a noticeably arcing stroke. The classic look is paired with advanced manufacturing and face technology. The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet with a plumbing-neck hosel promoting a moderate toe flow for a slight inside-to-inside putting path. Its milled steel head includes a black anodized aluminum insert to increase perimeter weighting and aid alignment, with a left-handed option available. The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer and heavier version with a 38-inch length, tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, designed for a steadier, smoother stroke, also available for lefties.

Putter Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with chain-link milling. Carbon steel was chosen over other materials to reduce vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while promoting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert, enhancing durability. The milling pattern minimizes contact points between ball and face, further dampening sound. The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is exclusively 38 inches at €599 MSRP. These new putters have been available at golf retailers since February 12.
