Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Line with Three New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design combine classic design with modern face technology.

The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist presents three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the offerings within the putter lineup, as Scotty Cameron continues to expand its blade and mid-mallet series. The putters are configured to accommodate various toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line merges classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus lies on an evolution of familiar designs, enhanced by technical adjustments aimed at delivering a controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A key feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert combined with the Chain-Link milling pattern, which affects the sound and vibrations at impact without altering feedback or ball rollout consistency.

Scotty Cameron Santa Fe

The Santa Fe draws on a decades-old design, resembling the Newport in its head shape. Its bent neck promotes a pronounced toe flow, benefiting players with a pronounced arc in their putting stroke and aiding face angle awareness throughout the stroke. The traditional look is updated with modern manufacturing techniques and current face technology.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. Featuring a plumbing neck for moderate toe flow, it encourages a slight inside-to-inside stroke path. The putter head is milled steel, complemented by a black anodized aluminum inlay between the toe and heel, enhancing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. This model is also available for left-handed players.

Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 Long Design

The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2 with the same head shape and neck but enhanced stability. At 38 inches long, it features increased head weight via tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, targeting players seeking a steadier, smoother putting stroke. A left-handed version is also offered.

Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature a Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a Chain-Link milling pattern. Carbon steel was favored over other materials in internal tests for its ability to reduce vibration duration at impact, resulting in a short, controlled sound. It also promotes consistent ball speeds. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern minimizes ball-to-face contact points, further dampening sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 are available in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design comes exclusively in 38 inches and is priced at €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retail since February 12.
