Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Line with Three New Putters

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic look with modern face technology.

Titleist’s Carlsbad-based subsidiary unveils three new models within the Studio-Style putter family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design complete the lineup, complementing Scotty Cameron’s blade and mid-mallet series with configurations designed for different toe-flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line combines Scotty Cameron’s iconic blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The core focus is an evolution of well-known designs enhanced by technical modifications aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A central feature is the studio carbon steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern, influencing sound and vibration at impact without changing feedback or ball roll consistency.

Scotty Cameron Putters: Classic Design Meets Innovation

The Santa Fe model revives a decades-old design inspired by the Newport shape, featuring a curved shaft to promote pronounced toe flow, suitable for players with notably arced putting strokes, aiding face angle awareness throughout the swing. Modern manufacturing and face technology update its classic appearance.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. It features a plumbing neck shaft for moderate toe flow, encouraging a slightly inside-to-inside stroke. The putter head uses a milled steel body combined with a black anodized aluminum inlay between toe and heel, increasing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is available.

The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier variant of the Fastback 2. It maintains the head shape and shaft but emphasizes added stability with a 38-inch length, increased tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft for a smoother, more consistent stroke. Left-handed options are also offered.

Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with chain-link milling. Carbon steel is preferred over other materials for its reduced vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speeds. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern decreases ball-to-face contact points, further dampening sound.

Santa Fe and Fastback 2 models come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is exclusively 38 inches and priced at €599 MSRP. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retailers since February 12.
