Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic design with modern face technology.
The Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary of Titleist presents three new putter models in its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the lineup and consistently complement Scotty Cameron’s series of blades and mid-mallets. Each putter is designed for different toe-flow profiles and stroke styles.
The Studio-Style line combines classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus is on evolving known designs with technical adjustments aimed at delivering controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A key element is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert paired with a Chain-Link milling pattern. This design affects the sound and vibration at impact without altering feedback or consistency of ball launch.
Scotty Cameron Santa Fe
The Santa Fe model recalls a decades-old design, with a head shape inspired by the Newport. Its curved hosel produces pronounced toe flow, appealing especially to golfers with a strongly arcing putting stroke and helping maintain face awareness throughout the stroke. The classic look is enhanced with modern manufacturing and current face technology.
Scotty Cameron Fastback 2
The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. It features a plumbing-neck hosel promoting moderate toe flow for a slight inside-to-inside stroke path. The putter head is a milled steel body with a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel that increases perimeter weighting and serves as an alignment aid. It is also available for left-handed players.
Scotty Cameron Fastback 2 Long Design
The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier version of the Fastback 2 with the same head shape and hosel but enhanced stability. Measuring 38 inches in length, it has increased head weight from tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft designed for a steadier, smoother putting stroke. It is also offered in a left-handed version.
Face and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control
All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with Chain-Link milling. Carbon steel was selected over other materials via internal tests for its ability to reduce vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound while supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern reduces ball-to-face contact points, further dampening sound.
The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 come in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, retailing for €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design is offered only in 38 inches, priced at €599. The new Studio-Style putters have been available at golf retailers since February 12th.
