Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Line with Three New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic style with modern face technology.

Titleist’s Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary introduces three new putter models to its Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design complete the putter lineup as Scotty Cameron expands its series of blades and mid-mallets. These putters are designed with different toe-flow profiles to suit various putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line combines classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions. The focus is on the evolution of well-known designs, enhanced with technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. The centerpiece is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern, which influences sound and vibration without affecting feedback or ball-roll consistency.

New Scotty Cameron Studio-Style Putters

The Santa Fe model revisits a decades-old design, inspired by the Newport shape. Its curved hosel produces pronounced toe flow, ideal for players with a distinct arcing putting stroke, supporting face angle awareness throughout the stroke. Classic looks are paired with modern manufacturing techniques and current face technology.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. Featuring a plumbing-neck hosel for moderate toe flow, it promotes a slight inside-to-inside putting path. The putter head consists of a milled steel body combined with a black anodized aluminum insert between toe and heel, increasing perimeter weighting and serving as an alignment aid. A left-handed version is also available.

The Fastback 2 Long Design offers a longer, heavier variation of the Fastback 2. It retains the standard head shape and hosel but is designed for added stability. Measuring 38 inches, it includes tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft aimed at players seeking a smoother, more consistent stroke. This model also comes in a left-handed version.

Face Insert and Design: Focus on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters feature the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with chain-link milling. Carbon steel was preferred over other materials in internal tests for its reduced vibration duration at impact, producing a short, controlled sound. It also promotes consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert and enhances durability. The milling pattern reduces the contact points between ball and face, further muffling sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 models are available in 33, 34, and 35 inches with an MSRP of €529. The Fastback 2 Long Design comes only in 38 inches priced at €599. These new Studio-Style putters have been available in golf retail since February 12.
