Scotty Cameron Expands Studio-Style Putter Line with Three New Models

Three new Scotty Cameron putters: Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design blend classic looks with modern face technology.

Titleist’s Carlsbad, California-based subsidiary unveils three new putter models in their Studio-Style family. The Santa Fe, Fastback 2, and Fastback 2 Long Design putters complete the range within the family, complementing Scotty Cameron’s series of blades and mid-mallets. Each putter is configured for different toe flow profiles and putting strokes.

The Studio-Style line combines classic Scotty Cameron blade shapes with newly developed mid-mallet constructions, focusing on evolved designs complemented by technical adjustments aimed at controlled feel and consistent ball speeds. A central feature is the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with a chain-link milling pattern, which influences sound and vibration at impact without affecting feedback or ball roll consistency.

Scotty Cameron Putters: Classic Design Meets Modern Technology

The Santa Fe model draws on a decades-old design reminiscent of the Newport, featuring a curved hosel that promotes pronounced toe flow, aiding players with a pronounced arcing putting stroke and enhancing face angle awareness throughout the stroke. Modern manufacturing and face tech complement its classic look.

The Fastback 2 is a compact mid-mallet version based on the previous Studio-Style Fastback. Its plumbing neck hosel offers moderate toe flow supporting a slight inside-to-inside stroke path. The putter head is milled from steel, augmented by a black anodized aluminum inlay between toe and heel to increase perimeter weighting and serve as an alignment aid. It is also available in a left-handed version.

The Fastback 2 Long Design is a longer, heavier variation with the same head shape and hosel as the standard Fastback 2 but enhanced for additional stability. Featuring a 38-inch length, tungsten sole weights, a longer straight grip, and a stiffer shaft, it targets golfers favoring a steadier, smoother stroke. This model is also offered for left-handed players.

Face Insert and Design: Emphasis on Feedback and Control

All Studio-Style putters incorporate the Studio Carbon Steel face insert with chain-link milling. Internal tests favored carbon steel over other materials for its reduced vibration duration upon impact, generating a short, controlled sound and supporting consistent ball speed. A nickel coating protects the insert for durability, while the milling pattern reduces ball-to-face contact points to further dampen sound.

The Santa Fe and Fastback 2 models are offered in standard lengths of 33, 34, and 35 inches, priced at €529 MSRP. The Fastback 2 Long Design is available only in 38 inches at €599 MSRP. These new additions to the Studio-Style line have been available in golf retailers since February 12.
