Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods and hybrids with high-tech faces for more speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.
Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno unveils its new family of woods in the JPX ONE series, featuring a new driver alongside various fairway woods and hybrids designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.
Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology
At the heart of the new woods is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver with NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in collaboration with Japanese chemical and material company Toray, Mizuno has created a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically alters the face’s elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than conventional titanium or composite constructions, producing higher ball speeds over a larger hitting area.
Coupled with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) expands by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno presents two driver models: the regular JPX ONE with a slightly larger clubhead for stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a more compact, tour-tested shape and neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both feature adjustable weights and a Quick-Switch hosel to finely tune launch and spin.
Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer
The JPX ONE series includes innovative fairway woods with a new CORTECH chamber, varying the internal distance between the sole and chamber wall. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire face without sacrificing center-face performance.
Each clubhead features a surrounding composite crown that reduces weight high on the head, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures efficient energy transfer at impact, while a redesigned sole improves turf interaction for cleaner strikes and more consistent ball speeds from various lies. Available in lofts from 15° to 24°, these fairway woods offer an ideal combination of ball speed, forgiveness, and playable trajectory for golfers seeking effortless distance with classic Mizuno feel.
JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology
The hybrids adopt the design philosophy of the fairway woods but in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle crown structure increases face stability, allowing Mizuno engineers to reposition weight lower and further back for optimal launch and spin control.
Similar to the fairway woods, the hybrids feature MAS1C faces with CORTECH chambers and the innovative sole design. Offered with lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
