Mizuno JPX ONE: New Woods with Advanced Face Tech for More Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with advanced face technology for enhanced speed, control and the classic Mizuno feel.

Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno unveils its new family of woods, including a new driver as well as various fairway woods and hybrids, designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.

Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver Featuring NANOALLOY Technology

At the core of the new woods is the JPX ONE Driver – the world’s first driver with NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in collaboration with Japanese chemical and materials company Toray, Mizuno has created a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the face elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite constructions, producing higher ball speeds across a larger hitting area.

Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (High-Speed Rebound Zone) is increased by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno presents two driver models: the standard JPX ONE with a larger clubhead for greater stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a compact, tour-proven shape and neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both feature adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel to precisely customize launch and spin to individual needs.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

The JPX ONE fairway woods feature a newly designed CORTECH chamber where the internal spacing between the sole and chamber wall is carefully varied. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the entire face while maintaining central face performance.

Each clubhead includes a surrounding composite crown to save weight high on the clubhead, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin. The MAS1C steel face with variable thickness provides maximum energy efficiency at impact, while the newly developed sole optimizes turf interaction for cleaner contact and consistent ball speeds from varied lies. Available in lofts from 15° to 24°, these fairway woods offer the ideal balance of ball speed, forgiveness, and playable trajectory for golfers seeking effortless distance with Mizuno’s characteristic feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology

The JPX ONE hybrids carry the fairway wood design philosophy into a more compact, iron-like form. Their waffle-crown structure increases face stability and enables Mizuno engineers to position free mass lower and further back in the clubhead, promoting optimal launch and spin control.

Similar to the fairway woods, the hybrids feature a MAS1C face combined with the CORTECH chamber and advanced sole design. Offered in lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28°, they provide a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
