TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver lineup with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility.
TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D Drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options. Four distinct models cater to different playing and swing types.
New Clubfaces and Aerodynamic Refinement
The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon clubfaces, which generate higher ball speeds compared to titanium while being more durable and robust. Improved roll radii on the clubface help reduce spin rate deviations, regardless of whether the ball is struck higher or lower on the face.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases flexibility in the lower part of the face. This creates an expanded high-performance area that stabilizes ball speed in typical impact zones. This is complemented by corrective face curvature and optimized head aerodynamics. Smooth transitions and discreetly integrated structures support clean airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Personalized Fit with Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is the high degree of personalization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are used. These target three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and are available in various flexes and weights, enabling tailored shaft options for different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D
The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Weight positioning can influence ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights positioned forward encourage higher ball speeds, while rear placement enhances stability.
Qi4D LS
Designed for maximum speed and ultra-low spin, the Qi4D LS features an aerodynamically optimized head shape developed through numerical flow simulations to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the club’s rear. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise adjustment of spin and ball flight.
Qi4D Max
The Qi4D Max prioritizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. The use of aluminum reduces weight and provides additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center-of-gravity shifts between increased ball speed and enhanced stability.
Qi4D Max Lite
The Qi4D Max Lite applies Max model technologies but is engineered for lightweight performance. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers seeking to boost clubhead speed.
The Qi4D Drivers can be pre-ordered from January 8, 2026, at a price of 699 € and will be available in pro shops starting January 29.
