Mizuno JPX ONE: New High-Tech Woods for Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for increased speed, control and signature Mizuno feel.

Founded in 1906, Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver, various fairway woods, and hybrids, designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.

Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

The highlight of the new woods is the JPX ONE driver – the world’s first driver with NANOALLOY face technology. In collaboration with Japanese chemical and material company Toray, Mizuno developed a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically changes the face’s elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite constructions, creating higher ball speeds across a larger face area.

Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) increases by over 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno has released two driver models: the regular JPX ONE driver with a larger clubhead for stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a compact, tour-proven shape geared towards neutral to fade bias. Both feature adjustable weight systems and a quick-switch hosel to precisely optimize launch and spin.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

The JPX ONE fairway woods feature a newly designed CORTECH chamber with varied internal spacing between the sole and chamber wall. This geometry maximizes energy transfer across the face by flexing towards the toe and heel without compromising the center. Each clubhead has a composite crown that saves weight high up to lower the center of gravity, resulting in a higher launch and reduced spin.

A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures efficient energy transfer at impact, while the newly developed sole improves ground interaction for cleaner strikes and consistent ball speeds from various lies. With lofts from 15° to 24°, JPX ONE fairway woods offer a balanced combination of speed, forgiveness, and playable trajectory for golfers seeking effortless distance and Mizuno’s signature feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology

JPX ONE hybrids adopt the fairway woods’ design philosophy in a more compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle-crown structure enhances face stability, allowing engineers to position available mass deeper and further back. This promotes optimal launch and spin control.

Similar to the fairway woods, hybrids feature MAS1C faces paired with CORTECH chambers and the innovative sole design. Available lofts range from 19° to 28°, providing a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
